Can I place my dog with Colleen for a month and have her train him?
Colleen does not offer such services simply because her personal belief is that the owner should be the one to train his or her dog. Hence, Colleen will teach you how to train your dog.

My dog is aggressive, is there a way to help him?
Colleen specializes in aggression, fear and anxiety. You are assured that you are working with a pro.

At what age can I start training my puppy?
The earlier the better! In fact, Colleen offers pre-arrival consultations for that new puppy you're soon to get. It's very important to know what to do right away instead of waiting for problems to occur.

Can I train my puppy even though it hasn't had all of its necessary shots?
Yes you can. You should however avoid doing any training in public for example, where your dog might be exposed to diseases
 from other dogs. You should only do  training in the house or in your own yard.

My dog is five years or older. Can I still train him?
You absolutely can. It doesn't matter what age your dog is.  Old dogs really CAN learn new tricks!

My puppy seems to be aggressively biting me, why is that? Should I be concerned that something is wrong with his personality?
Sometimes people mistake their puppy's behavior for aggression when it's really only playing roughly or teething.

I would like to include my family in the dog training, is that possible?
Absolutely! Colleen encourages the whole family to participate in the training of their dog.

I actually have two or more dogs. Can they all be trained at the same time?
Depending on the problem, it is quite possible to help with the training of both dogs at the same time. When each dog has a distinct and different problem from the other dog however, two separate consultations would then apply.

Do you train service dogs?
Unfortunately Colleen Paige does not certify service dogs but teaches a basic course that is important for every dog owner thinking of training their dog as a service dog.

I am in the process of choosing a dog for the family. Can Colleen help me?
She sure can. It is very important to do research on the type of breed that you're bringing into your home. Colleen can give you insight from her experience with different dog breeds and can help you choose the right dog for your lifestyle.

Does Colleen require me to use a choke collar on my dog during training?
No, Colleen does not require any specific collar at all. Her main focus is to make your dog as comfortable as possible during training.

Why should I adopt a dog from the animal shelter?
Many wonderful pets can be found at the animal shelter. Colleen, being the founder of National Dog Day and National Cat Day (among others), a holiday that has saved thousands of pets from certain death, believes in adopting from the shelter and rescue groups, as there are so many wonderful dogs, cats, horses, birds and other pets looking for forever homes.
